Al’s gotten smaller over the year’s,nevertheless still casting a gigantic shadow and musically larger than life,just a beautiful cat!
Al Jarreau took my CD and walked around the stage telling everyone how beautiful the picture and title was and that he was flattered from the dedication I made to him.As well encouraged the audience to go right out and purchase it of course along with his new CD Love Song’s which I encourage everyone to purchase especially when you enjoy the care Al has put into them.Later that evening during the performance  Al picked up the CD again and looked back at me with that wise twinkle in his eye,pointed at me winked as a sense of approval.(Like well done)
Later we took pictures,here’s my favorite!….I know I chose a great hero ,still a beautiful spirit!
I can’t end the story without mentioning Debbie Davis, Al’s female singer who realized she remembered as a young man (small world).Debbie is beautiful. talented,and a keep it real D.C sista who’s been singing with Al for year’s .Leica and I really enjoyed her cool and candor. Debbie is the sister of Michela Davis of Honey Mag and Full Frontal Fashion.all of us came up together .
The cool thing is to see us come together, clearly evidence of dreaming together.
